Dear BCMS Families,
We are thrilled to share that the first week of school has been a wonderful success! Our students have quickly settled into their routines, and the energy around our building reflects excitement for the year ahead. Thank you for your support in making the transition back to school so positive.
During our opening assembly, we spoke with students about what it means to be part of the BCMS community. We emphasized that this is our school—a place where every student belongs, contributes, and thrives. To guide us, we introduced the following principles that will anchor our work together this year:
-
Falcon PRIDE – Living out our core values of Preparedness, Responsibility, Integrity, Diligence, and Earning/Exhibiting Respect.
-
Kindness – Treating others with respect, compassion, and empathy.
-
Belonging – Ensuring that every student feels accepted, valued, and included.
-
Leadership – Stepping up as role models and making positive choices.
-
Ownership – Taking responsibility for our actions and holding ourselves accountable.
-
Involvement – Participating in the wide range of opportunities available to explore passions and grow.
These guiding principles are not just for our students—they reflect the shared expectations we hold for ourselves as educators and as a parent community as well. Together, we model PRIDE, kindness, belonging, leadership, ownership, and involvement so that BCMS remains a school where every child can flourish.
We are excited for all that lies ahead and grateful to partner with you in helping our students reach their fullest potential.
Warm regards,
Dr. Beth Stanton
