Dear Branchburg Community,

The Branchburg Board of Education is pleased to announce that after a thorough search process, we have selected and approved at last night’s board meeting, Mr. Kevin McPeek as our next Superintendent of Schools.

Mr. McPeek brings more than 25 years of experience in education and leadership to the Branchburg Township School District. He began his career as a classroom teacher where he developed a strong understanding of student learning across multiple developmental stages. Building on his classroom experience, Mr. McPeek served as an Assistant Principal, an Elementary School Principal, and a Middle School Principal. Most recently, he served as the Administrative Principal of the Alexandria Township School District. Throughout his career, Mr. McPeek has demonstrated a deep commitment to student success, collaborative leadership, and fostering meaningful relationships within school communities.

The Board took this decision with a great deal of care and consideration for every stakeholder. When we started this search, we listened closely to what the community wanted: stability, transparency, and a leader who is truly present in our schools. We are confident that Mr. McPeek is the right leader to provide the consistent, reliable presence our students and families deserve.

Kevin is a relational leader who believes in being visible and active in the community. You can expect to see him at school events and games because he isn't just leading a district; he’s joining our community.

He is a strong communicator who is committed to being approachable and making sure your voice is heard as we work together to move the district forward. He has a proven track record of bringing people together, teachers, parents, and community leaders to create a shared vision for our schools. Most importantly, he understands that for our schools to remain a point of pride, we need a steady presence at the top, and we are excited to have him in place to lead our district for years to come.
