Terri has been a resident of Branchburg for over 23 years. During that time, her children both attended all three Branchburg schools and Somerville High School. Terri has worked as a parent volunteer in all four schools starting with the Whiton Family School Council in 2008, the PTO in each Branchburg school and the Somerville High School Music Boosters Association. Terri is also on the board of directors for a local non-profit organization.

Terri was appointed to the Branchburg Board of Education in 2011 and has been serving continuously as an elected member of the board since 2012. She has been a member of each board committee and board vice-president and has served as board president since 2018.

Terri is a former IT and communications professional with a passion for learning and giving back to her community.



Kristen Fabriczi

Kristen has been a Branchburg resident since 1985 and has three children who attended Branchburg Schools with two currently attending Somerville High School. She is an alumna of Stony Brook School, Branchburg Central Middle School and Somerville High School herself! She currently works locally as a school-based speech therapist and for a private practice in Princeton.

Kristen joined the board as a way of giving back to the district that provided her with an excellent, quality education. She wants to help the district continue to strive for excellence and move continually forward.

Kristen has been serving on the Board of Education since 2016 and as the Branchburg representative on the Somerville Board of Education since 2018.

Vincent Carpentier

Vince has resided in Branchburg since 2000, and he and his wife have a son at Whiton Elementary School.  He is a graduate of BCMS, Somerville High School, and has a BA Degree in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University.  Vince is also a volunteer on Branchburg’s Parks and Recreation and Youth Services Committees.  He has a passion for being active in the community and giving back to the town that he holds so dearly.

Professionally, Vince has over ten years of work experience in the telecommunications sector.  He currently works as a software developer where he designs dashboards and tooling, and implements automation.  In his spare time, he enjoys watching and playing sports, running, his dog, and playing video games.

As a new member of the Board of Education, Vince is looking forward to working with the existing board to maintain the great standard of education Branchburg has grown accustomed to.

Mr. Maider

Robert Maider

Bobby has been a resident of Branchburg for 6 years with his wife, Alison, and two children.  He currently has a son at Whiton Elementary and a daughter at Stony Brook.  Bobby volunteers in town as both a soccer and baseball coach.

Bobby graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Communications and attained his J.D. from Seton Hall School of Law.  Bobby works as an attorney at his law firm in Nutley, New Jersey, where he is an active litigator and trial attorney.  He enjoys advocating for all of his clients.

Bobby was elected to the Branchburg Board of Education in 2020 and looks forward to helping our school district continue to excel.

Jompo has been a resident of Branchburg for 14 years with her husband Fola and two children.  She currently has a daughter at Whiton Elementary and a son at Branchburg Central Middle school. Jompo participates in her children's school activities.

Jompo graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and University of Florida with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering. Jompo works as a Site manager at a Pharmaceutical Company in New Jersey. She enjoys anything math, science, and engineering, mentoring young people, exercising, reading, and building Legos with her kids.

Jompo was appointed to the Branchburg Board of Education in 2022 and is looking forward to helping our school district in ensuring our kids are ready for the future.

Carmela Noto

Carmela Noto is lifelong resident of Branchburg.  She has raised three children who have attended Branchburg schools and Somerville High School.  Carmela has previously served on the Board of Education from 2011 - 2017, acting as the Branchburg representative for Somerville High School from 2015-2017.  She is committed to serving the community as a thoughtful and diligent Board Member.

Carmela is an insurance professional, working exclusively for regional insurance carriers throughout her career. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.


Olga Phelps

Olga has been a resident of Branchburg since 2005 and her children attended Branchburg Schools. She is a third-generation educator with eighteen years of experience teaching at secondary and college level. She earned her Master of Education Degree in teaching English and German, has worked in the USA and abroad as a language instructor, social studies teacher and associate adjunct professor. She has a vast and deep understanding of best educational practices around the world and is eager to continue using her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to the benefit of Branchburg residents. She is currently an adjunct professor at Raritan Valley Community College and a professional artist and member of Raritan Valley Arts Association.

Through her work at RVCC and contacts with international educational institutions, she has a unique insight into what skills our students need to succeed in the ever-changing, increasingly competitive globalized economy. She is honored by the trust Branchburg residents have put in her and will continue to work for the benefit of every student of our township.

Olga has served on the Board of Education since 2013.


Keerti Purohit

Keerti is a mother of two children attending Branchburg schools and strongly believes in the power of education to open up opportunities for people from all walks of life. She is passionate about collaborating with parents, teachers, administration, and the community to provide a safe and positive learning environment to prepare our children to meet the demands of the future.

Keerti is a trustee of the Branchburg Education Foundation, and also enjoys volunteering for the PTO and community sports organizations.

She has over 20 years of IT leadership and management-consulting experience in Technology, Finance, Telecommunications, and Healthcare. Her experience ranges from working with executive leadership on business strategy to translating business goals into end-to-end people, process, and technology solutions. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and an M.B.A. in Management from the Wharton Business School.

Keerti began serving on the Board of Education in 2017.

Jonathan Sarles

Jon and his wife, Christina, have lived in Branchburg since 2011.  Jon was born, raised, and has virtually lived his entire life in Branchburg.  He attended Branchburg Schools before graduating from Somerville High School.  This year, Jon and Christina will have at least one child in every one of the Branchburg Schools!  

Jon holds a National, Advanced National, and Director of Coaching Diploma from the United Soccer Coaches and coaching licenses from the United States Soccer Federation. He has more than 20 years of experience coaching soccer with an emphasis on elite player development.  Jon owns and operates his soccer club, Somerset County FC, where he trains and coaches players and teams nationally and internationally (Italy).  

Away from work, board, and consistory responsibilities, Jon practices reading, writing, and speaking Italian, caring for the family dog and chickens, gardening and carpentry.  Most of his free time is spent enjoying his family and friends.

Jon is humbled with the responsibility of serving as a member of the Branchburg Board of Education.  He is honored to serve the community that helped raise him and is now helping to raise his children.  He is highly motivated to ensure Branchburg’s youth receive the best educational opportunities possible.
