Homework should be written in your agenda daily. If you happen to forget homework will be posted here as well. If homework is not posted by 3 pm please check back again after 5. Thank you! INDEPENDENT READING BOOK SHOULD BE WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES. YOU SHOULD BE READING EVERY DAY. IF YOU FINISH ONE BOOK, COME TO CLASS WITH ANOTHER. May 22, 23 & 24- Misfits 9-15 due Tuesday along with reader's notebook. You WILL have a quiz on Tuesday. Holocaust research project due Wednesday. May 20 & 21- Read The Misfits chapters 5-8 and complete your reader's notebook. Quiz Wednesday on Chapters 1-8. May 17- Please finish the reading of the introduction to the Holocaust information as well as the guided notes if you did not finish them in class. Chapters 5-8 of The Misfits is due on Wednesday along with the journal. May 16- Please complete the reading of Misfits chapters 2-4 for Friday. Complete your journal while reading!! May 15- Please complete the reading of Misfits chapters 2-4 for Friday. Complete your journal while reading!! May 10- Finish Shrek Questions given in class today. 4/29-5/3- NONE! 4/25- Complete Final Copy of Argument Essay due tomorrow. See rubric on rubric tab if you need a new one. 4/24- Complete in class activities from class today. Begin to make final revisions of argument essay--due FRIDAY!!!!!! 4/19- Review your essay for elements of elaboration. Please review the handouts provided in class for the types of information you need to include. 4/18- You must have a complete typed copy of your argument essay on Monday. 4/17- Use some of the feedback given by your peer editor to begin making changes to your rough draft. 4/16- Highlight information in your rough draft that demonstrates you used information found in the articles you were given regarding freeganism. Put a number corresponding to the list given in class in the margin, so that you are aware what article the information came from. Also complete any of the handouts not completed in class. 4/15- Revise your lead and closing based on the information reviewed in class. 4/12- Complete rough draft of your freeganism essay for Monday. 4/11- Complete in class assignments and finish writing plan for your argument essay. 4/10- Complete questions on Jill's Writing from the blue handout given in class. 4/9- Complete argument essay plan using the freeganism prompt distributed in class. 4/8- Read for enjoyment! 4/5- Study for Argument Essay Quiz on Monday. Refer to outline answers under notes section of website as needed. 4/4-Complete reading assignments from class today and fill in chart. 4/3- Read for enjoyment!! 4/2- Finish the in class questions about the essay if it was not finished during class. |
