The major function of this team is to design and recommend potential intervention for non-classified pupils experiencing difficulties in their regular classes. The child’s teachers select the actual interventions. The interventions could include curricular changes for the pupil, new instructional materials or methods, or other assistance provided in the regular education program. The interventions are designed to assist individual non-handicapped pupils with learning or behavior problems so they will be able to succeed.
This forum provides the teacher support built on a collegial relationship, which helps provide a number of strategies to utilize in providing the best education possible for all children. If you have any additional questions or need to initiate a referral see the principal and/or guidance counselor.
