Birthdays Birthdays are a special time for everyone, especially first graders. I want your child to celebrate his/her birthday with their classmates and teachers. I encourage you to send in a treat to school to help celebrate your child's birthday. (Please do not send in candy!!) You can contact me prior to sending in those treats and I will let you know what time is best to drop them off. We will be sure to sing "Happy Birthday" to your child and he/she will be bringing home a pencil, birthday crown, and a certificate. Please contact me a week before your child's birthday so we can discuss the treat and nutrition labels. Summer birthday? Don't worry!! In June, each summer birthday will be celebrated on a given day. |
